The building water storage and drainage tank comprises a water storage and drainage tank body and a rain collecting hopper, wherein the rain collecting hopper is fixedly installed at the upper end of the left side of the water storage and drainage tank body; an inclined filter screen plate is fixedly installed in the rain collecting hopper; the bottom of the water storage and drainage tank body is built on the top of a building through concrete; large-particle impurities are filtered out through the filter screen plate; a first purification water tank, a second purification water tank and a purified water storage tank are arranged in the water storage and drainage tank body; most rainwater collected by the rain collecting hopper can enter the first purification water tank through the rain collecting hopper to be subjected to primary sedimentation purification; the rainwater stored in the first purification water tank is drained into the second purification water tank to be subjected to secondary sedimentation purification after reaching the storage critical height; and the rainwater stored in the second purification water tank is drained into the purified water storage tank for standby application after reaching the storage critical height. By adopting a graded sedimentation purification mode, the purification effect of the water storage and drainage tank is improved, and meanwhile the large storage volume is kept.
