The invention discloses a reactor building temporary top cover overturning opening and closing mechanism. The overturning opening and closing mechanism comprises a cover capable of being overturned (1), a hydraulic cylinder (5), a hinge set A (2), a hinge set B (3), a supporting beam (4), a hinge set C (6) and a hydraulic pump station (9), wherein the hinge set A (2) is located at the end of a piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder (5), the cover capable of being overturned (1) and the hydraulic cylinder (5) can relatively rotate around the hinge set A (2), the hydraulic cylinder (5) is arranged below the cover capable of being overturned (1), one end of the hinge set B (3) is connected with the supporting beam (4), the other end thereof is connected with the cover capable of being overturned (1), the hinge set C (6) is located on the lower portion of the hydraulic cylinder (5), and the hydraulic cylinder (5) can rotate along a hinge shaft of the hinge set C (6). According to the mechanism, the cover capable of being overturned is driven by the hydraulic cylinder to be opened and closed, the stability of the top cover in the opening and closing process is ensured, and the cover capable of being overturned can be prevented from freely falling off under the pressure loss condition.
