The invention discloses an intelligent door lock and an energy-saving system thereof, and belongs to the technical field of energy saving of intelligent locks. The energy-saving system comprises a main control chip, a sampling circuit, a rectifying circuit, an energy storage circuit, a charging circuit and a standby battery; the main control chip controls a motor driving chip to output current by controlling a first driving pin MOTO1 and a second driving pin MOTO2 so as to drive the motor to rotate forwards or backwards; the main control chip carries out ADC sampling on the motor driving current through an ADC pin of an analog-to-digital converter at regular time by a sampling circuit and calculates sampling current; moreover, the main control chip controls the energy storage circuit to control the motor drive to stop and turn on the energy storage circuit through an MOS switch when the sampling current reaches a shutdown threshold value; and the rectifying circuit rectifies induced current generated in the process of stopping forward rotation or reverse rotation of the motor and then inputs the induced current to the energy storage circuit, and the standby battery is connected with the energy storage circuit through the charging circuit. Therefore, by implementing the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, the endurance time of the intelligent lock can be effectively prolonged.
