The invention discloses a slope protection device for traffic engineering construction. The slope protection device comprises a protection baffle, wherein the lower end surface of the protection baffle is fixedly connected with a mounting shell; the mounting shell is in a hollow shell shape with an opening in the top end; the top end of the mounting shell is fixedly connected with the lower end surface of the protection baffle; a plurality of transmission gears and a power gear are arranged in the mounting shell; the power gear is in meshed connection with the plurality of transmission gears; a first central through hole is formed in the central position of the power gear; a second central through hole is formed in the protection baffle and corresponds to the first central through hole; a third central through hole is formed in the central position of each transmission gear; each transmission gear is fixedly connected to the outer side of the top end of a screwing piece in a sleeving manner through the corresponding third central through hole; and the bottom end of each screwing piece penetrates through a mounting through hole formed in the end wall of the bottom end of the mounting shell and then is arranged below the mounting shell.
