The invention discloses a buffer warning type cutter head for a small disc ditcher. The buffer warning type cutter head comprises a disc and cutter bits, wherein a plurality of containing grooves used for installing the cutter bits are evenly arranged in the side wall of the disc; the groove wall of each containing groove is elastically connected to a movable plate through a strong spring; the movable plates are connected to the containing grooves in a sliding mode; limiting grooves are symmetrically arranged in the groove wall of each containing groove; ejector blocks are elastically connected to the groove walls of the opposite sides of the limiting grooves through limiting springs; the end, away from the corresponding limiting spring, of each ejector block is of a hemispherical structure; and a plurality of U-shaped grooves matched with the ejector blocks are arranged in the side wall of each cutter bit. By arranging the U-shaped grooves, the limiting grooves, the ejector blocks and the limiting springs, compared with a traditional welding mode, the installation and replacement operation between the cutter bits and the disc is simple and rapid, and meanwhile, the disc cannot be damaged.
