The invention relates to the field of concrete pavement construction, and particularly discloses high-strength steel slag concrete and a preparation method thereof. The steel slag concrete is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 100-150 parts of cement, 120-150 parts of steel slag, 70-120 parts of water, 70-80 parts of fly ash and a strength enhancer through stirring and mixing, and the strength enhancer comprises 90-110 parts of sodium ethylene diamine tetracetate; and the preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the strength enhancer, steel slag, cement, water and fly ash to obtain the steel slag concrete, and the steel slag concrete composition can be used for paving pavements and has the advantage of improving the strength of the steel slag concrete.
