The invention discloses a hinge structure for an automobile trunk lid and an automobile. The hinge structure comprises a hinge fixing seat, a hinge arm, a connecting plate and a damping element, the hinge fixing seat is used for being connected with a trunk body of an automobile trunk, one end of the hinge arm is hinged to the hinge fixing seat, and the other end of the hinge arm is used for being connected with the trunk lid of the automobile trunk; and one end of the connecting plate is hinged to the hinge arm, the other end of the connecting plate is used for being connected with a torsion spring, a slideway is formed in the hinge fixing seat, one end of the damping element is hinged to the hinge arm, and the other end of the damping element is arranged in the slideway and can slide along the slideway along with movement of the hinge arm. In the opening or closing process of the trunk lid, after the other end of the damping element slides to one end of the slideway, the trunk lid continues a stroke of opening or closing under the action of the torsional spring, and the damping element is stressed to be compressed or stretched to achieve the speed reduction and buffering effects. The damping force generated when the trunk lid is opened to the high position is increased, so that the opening speed is reduced, and meanwhile the problem that the closing force is large is solved.
