The electric opening and closing mechanism comprises a vehicle door hinge, an electric supporting rod, a mounting seat and a hinge arm, wherein an opening shaft seat and a height shaft seat are arranged on the mounting seat; the hinge arm comprises a hinge connecting part and a hinge driving part; an opening hinging piece is arranged on the opening shaft seat; a height hinging piece is arranged on the height shaft seat; a universal rotating mechanism is arranged between the opening shaft seat and the height shaft seat; the opening hinging piece forms a first rotating axis and a second rotating axis; the height hinging piece forms a third rotating axis and a fourth rotating axis; the first rotating axis, the second rotating axis, the third rotating axis and the fourth rotating axis are intersected at one point; the intersection point is positioned on the opening hinging piece; one end of the electric supporting rod is hinged to a vehicle frame, and the other end of the electric supporting rod is connected with a vehicle door; the vehicle door is opened and closed through the electric supporting rod; the movement of the vehicle door in three directions is simplified into the cooperative movement of rotation of the four rotating axes; the whole movement process is simple; the vehicle door hinge is simple and convenient in structure and low in manufacturing cost; the mass production and the generalization of the hinge are facilitated; and the electric supporting rod is arranged below the vehicle door hinge.
