The door and window driving device comprises a shell, a translation driving assembly located in the shell, a transmission assembly with one end rotationally connected with the translation driving assembly, and an installation base rotationally connected to the end, away from the translation driving assembly, of the transmission assembly, wherein the translation driving assembly drives one end of the transmission assembly to translate; the shell is hollow; a connecting plate is arranged at one end of the shell; a connecting hole is formed in the connecting plate; guide holes are formed in the end face, provided with the connecting plate, of the shell and the end face opposite to the end face; and the transmission assembly penetrates through the guide holes to be detachably connected with the translation driving assembly. When the intelligent door and window is transformed and used on an existing door and window, the door and window driving device can be reversely installed. After the existing door and window is transformed, intelligent control over the door and window can be achieved, and the effects that a user can conveniently conduct remote control and remote check, intelligent interconnection is achieved, intelligent control is achieved, and energy is saved are achieved.
