The invention discloses a heat preservation glass window and a damage detecting and positioning method thereof. The heat preservation glass window comprises a glass window body and a controller, the inner side wall of the glass window body communicates with a water injection device, a heating device is further arranged on the side wall of the interior of the a glass window body, pressure sensors are arranged on the four sides in the glass window body, and temperature sensors are arranged on the two sides of the interior and the exterior of the glass window body; and the water injection device, the heating device, the temperature sensors and a water level sensor are all electrically connected with the controller, and the controller is further electrically connected with an alarm and a displayer. Water is injected into the glass window body through the water injection device, and heating and heat preservation are carried out under the action of the heating device; and meanwhile, finite element division is carried out on stress sections of the pressure sensors in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, the actual pressure value of each unit is compared with the theoretical pressure value, and the specific position of the damage is determined according to the abnormal position of the deviation value of the pressure comparison.
