The invention relates to a road slope supporting structure and a construction method, and belongs to the technical field of road construction. The road slope supporting structure comprises a protective frame covering a slope, wherein the slope is located below one side of a road; the protective frame comprises a plurality of vertical frames laid on the slope at intervals, a protective net covering the portions, back on to the slope, of the vertical frames and a plurality of transverse frames laid on the side, back on to the vertical frames, of the protective net at intervals; the vertical frames, the transverse frames and the protective net are located at the intersections of the vertical frames and the transverse frames and connected through locking assemblies; the transverse frames are located at the intersections of the transverse frames and the vertical frames and connected through fixing assemblies; and the protective frame fixedly covers the surface of the slope through an abutting mechanism. When the protective frame is installed, the vertical frames, the protective net and the transverse frames are fixed through the locking assemblies to form the protective frame, then the transverse frames and the slope are fixed through the fixing assemblies, finally, the protective frame is fixed through the abutting mechanism, and the slope supporting strength is improved.
