The invention discloses a step-shaped hooking sliding door and window which comprises an outer frame and a sliding sash body; a step-shaped multi-layer sliding plane is arranged on the lower sliding portion of the outer frame; the height of the multi-layer sliding plane is reduced layer by layer from inside to outside; a lower hook and a height-adjustable pulley assembly are arranged in the lower portion of the sliding sash body; the lower hook comprises a mounting portion and a hook portion; the mounting portion extends into the lower portion of the sliding sash body to be installed and fixed; the hook portion is arranged to be a hook body extending upwards and is connected with the mounting portion; a sliding plane on the upper level of the sliding plane where the sliding sash body is located extends towards the sliding sash body to form a reverse hooking groove; and the hook portion extends into the reverse hooking groove to form matched hooking. The step-shaped hooking sliding door and window has the characteristics of being reasonable in structure, convenient to use, capable of keeping clean and sanitary and the like, water can be effectively prevented and drained through the step-shaped downward sliding arrangement, the moving range of the sliding sash body is restrained through the correspondingly added lower hook and the reverse hooking groove, an anti-theft function is improved, and installation convenience is greatly improved.
