The invention provides a molten iron sampling mold and a preparation method thereof and a molten iron sampling method, and belongs to the technical field of blast furnace smelting. The preparation method of the molten iron sampling mold comprises the steps: mixing clay powder, coke powder and water to obtain slurry; placing both a metal sample spoon and a metal sample mold used for molten iron sampling in the slurry, and attaching the slurry to the surfaces of the metal sample spoon and the metal sample mold; and drying the slurry attached to the surfaces of the metal sample spoon and the metal sample mold. The molten iron sampling method comprises the steps: placing the sample molds on a metal plate, and folding the two sample molds to form a groove; taking molten iron by using the sample spoon, and pouring the molten iron into the groove; and after the molten iron in the groove is solidified, separating the two sample molds, so as to automatically separate an iron sample from the sample molds. The slurry layers are attached to the surfaces of the metal sample spoon and the metal sample mold, so that the metal sample spoon and the metal sample mold can be prevented from being eroded by the molten iron when the molten iron is sampled, and the service life of the sampling mold is prolonged.
