The invention discloses an urban garden drainage system which comprises a traffic lane and a green belt, a drainage mechanism is arranged in the green belt, the green belt comprises stone steps located on the two sides, the drainage mechanism comprises a well lid and a water collecting channel, the water collecting channel comprises a water inlet and a water outlet, the water inlet is located at the stone steps so as to be communicated with the traffic lane, the water outlet of the water collecting channel extends to the well lid; and a water guiding area is formed at a position in a manner that the height is lower than the periphery correspondingly to the water inlet of the water collecting channel on the traffic lane. According to the system, the well lid is transferred into the green belt, so that the lower part of the motor vehicle lane is solid and does not need to be hollowed out, and the collapse of the motor vehicle lane caused by frequent passing of automobiles is avoided.
