The invention relates to a bridge construction method and a bridge. The bridge construction method comprises the steps of prefabricating the split beams; hanging the fragmented beams to the construction support, aligning the fragmented beams, constructing the fragmented beams on the construction support, and obtaining a whole-span bridge superstructure; moving the whole-span bridge superstructure to the position where the bridge location is located; and supporting the upper structure of the whole-span bridge on the bent cap. According to the bridge construction method, the speed of prefabricated construction can be increased, the construction efficiency is improved, and the time of bridge new construction is shortened. Compared with a common bridge construction method, in particular to bridge construction of an over-crossing expressway, the method has the advantages that only the traffic needs to be temporarily closed in the process of moving the whole-span bridge superstructure to the bridge location, the traffic closing time is shortened, and therefore the bridge construction can be completed under the condition that the interference on expressway operation is minimum. In addition, the bridge is obtained through the bridge construction method.
