The invention discloses a self-formwork cast-in-place floor and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of buildings. The floor comprises a steel bar truss which comprises longitudinal and transverse steel bars, triangular overlapping frames and frame-shaped connecting frames, each triangular overlapping frame is composed of six triangles which are integrated and overlapped with one another, each frame-shaped connecting frame is formed by bending a steel bar, a self-formwork system is formed by fixing an inner-layer bottom formwork, an outer-layer bottom formwork and gasket strips on frame arms of the frame-shaped connecting frames in a mutually crossed manner, and the pouring is divided into two steps, and a bottom template for the front pouring is used as a bottom template for the rear pouring. The floor has the beneficial effects that the overall load force of the self-formwork system is increased, the formwork is erected on the whole by means of the structural characteristics of the steel bar truss of the self-formwork system, scaffold supporting is completely omitted, and material cost and labor cost are greatly saved; and the triangular overlapping frames and the frame-shaped connecting frames are adopted, so that the strength of the steel bar truss can be improved, and the triangular overlapping frames and the frame-shaped connecting frames can be used as hoisting and supporting parts of the bottom formwork to provide alternative supporting force for removing a scaffold.
