The invention provides a high-strength concrete composite column with crossed double-spiral stirrup steel. The high-strength concrete composite column is composed of a prefabricated high-strength concrete shell, an internal reinforcement cage and core cast-in-place concrete, wherein the prefabricated high-strength concrete shell is of a long and straight hollow structure formed by pouring high-strength concrete; a plurality of first longitudinal bars and outer spiral stirrups wrapping the outer sides of the first longitudinal bars are arranged in the high-strength concrete; the internal reinforcement cage comprises a plurality of second longitudinal bars arranged in the hollow part of the prefabricated high-strength concrete shell and inner spiral stirrups wrapping the outer sides of the second longitudinal bars; the first longitudinal bars and the second longitudinal bars are parallel to the length direction of the prefabricated high-strength concrete shell; and the core cast-in-place concrete is poured in the hollow part of the prefabricated high-strength concrete shell. The invention further provides a construction method of the column. Bursting damage of the column in the high-temperature environment is restrained through the restraint effect of the double layers of spiral stirrups on the inner concrete and the outer concrete. The high-strength concrete composite column is high in bearing capacity, obvious in anti-cracking performance, excellent in durability and fire resistance and convenient and fast to construct.
