The invention discloses a decorative building material, and particularly relates to the field of buildings. The decorative building material comprises a plate; the plate is composed of a sound insulation layer, honeycomb layers, a melamine damp-proof layer, and a facing layer; the honeycomb layers are fixedly arranged at the two sides of the sound insulation layer; the melamine damp-proof layer is fixedly arranged at the side, away from the sound insulation layer, of each honeycomb layer; the facing layer is fixedly arranged at one side of the melamine damp-proof layer; an arc-shaped sealing groove and a water swelling rubber strip are arranged on the portions, located on the melamine damp-proof layer, of the two sides of the panel respectively; a connecting plate is arranged in the middle of the arc-shaped sealing groove; and the connecting plate is located in the melamine damp-proof layer and connected with the melamine damp-proof layer in a sliding mode. According to the decorative building material, the surface of the plate can be prevented from being ignited by an external fire source through a flame-retardant plastic film, so that the safety performance is improved; and plate gaps can be well sealed through the water swelling rubber strip, so that concrete damage caused by water leakage is avoided.
