The invention discloses an energy-saving door closer. The energy-saving door closer comprises a shell, a base, a sliding block and an electromagnetic assembly arranged in the base, the base further comprises a linkage assembly and an unlocking sliding block, a sliding rail is arranged in the shell, and the sliding block and the unlocking sliding block both slide on the sliding rail; the electromagnetic assembly is connected with one end of the linkage assembly, the linkage assembly is rotationally connected with the base, and the electromagnetic assembly drives the linkage assembly to rotate; the unlocking sliding block is in linkage with the electromagnetic assembly; and when the electromagnetic assembly is powered off, the electromagnetic assembly and the linkage assembly are locked, and the linkage assembly and the sliding block are fixed. Opening and closing of a fireproof door are controlled through an electromagnet and the sliding block, when the electromagnetic assembly is in a power-off state, the fireproof door is kept normally open, electric energy consumed by long-time power-on for keeping operation of the door closer is greatly reduced, and energy conservation and emission reduction are facilitated.
