The invention discloses a vase pier anti-disengaging and anti-overturning device and method. The device comprises an outer wrapping steel plate, a connecting plate and a supporting plate, the outer wrapping steel plate is fixed to the top face and the periphery of the upper end of the vase pier in a wrapping mode, and a through hole allowing a support to penetrate through is formed in the outer wrapping steel plate; the connecting plates are symmetrically and vertically arranged on the two sides of the main beam, and the upper ends of the connecting plates are connected with a web of the main beam. The supporting plates are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the outer wrapping steel plate, each supporting plate comprises two lug plates, one ends of the lug plates are connected with the outer wrapping steel plate, the other ends of the lug plates are hinged to the lower end of the connecting plate through connecting pieces, the lower end of the connecting plate is arranged between the two lug plates, and gaps are formed between the connecting plate and the lug plates; the lug plate is provided with a lug hole for the connecting piece to penetrate through, and the hole diameter of the lug hole is larger than the outer diameter of the connecting piece. The device can provide two-stage protection, namely, support disengagement prevention in the normal operation state and main beam overturning resistance in the extreme overload state, and it is guaranteed that the device adapts to deformation of the main beam under the effects of temperature, shrinkage creep and centripetal force.
