The invention discloses an LNG storage tank shock insulation support convenient to replace and a replacing method. The LNG storage tank shock insulation support comprises a shock insulation body and further comprises sliding pairs installed on the upper end face and/or the lower end face of the shock insulation body; each sliding pair comprises a main sliding plate, an auxiliary sliding plate and a connecting piece used for locking the main sliding plate, the auxiliary sliding plate and the shock insulation body; and after the connecting pieces are unlocked or detached, the main sliding plates and the auxiliary sliding plates can slide relatively. According to the replacing method of the shock insulation support, instruments which are light and easy to operate are used, and the defect that large machines cannot enter and exit easily due to the fact that the pile distance of an LNG storage tank is large can be overcome; equipment is simple and does not need to be jacked, and the defects that the layer height of a shock insulation layer of the LNG storage tank is small, and the replacing operation space of the shock insulation support is limited can be overcome; and no matter what level liquid stored in the LNG storage tank is located, the shock insulation support can be replaced, and normal operation of the LNG storage tank is not affected during replacement of the shock insulation support.
