The invention discloses a novel glass fireproof method and multifunctional fireproof glass thereof. The novel glass fireproof method and multifunctional fireproof glass thereof are characterized in that various functional membranes containing fireproof membranes are connected into a strip shape one by one and then are wound on an upper roller and a lower roller; the rollers are rotated to enable the various functional membranes wound on the upper roller and the lower roller to be tensioned in a slit space between double-layer glass plates with vertical edges closed on the two sides, and the functional membranes can do up-and-down reciprocating motion; the rollers are arranged in closed spaces of the horizontal cylindrical shells on the upper side and the lower side of the double-layer glass plates; the closed spaces of the horizontal cylindrical shells are in communication with the slit space between the double-layer glass plates with the two closed vertical edges at the two sides as a space in peripheral sealing connection; and when a fire disaster occurs, the fireproof membranes wound on the rollers can be quickly released and tensioned in the slit space between the double-layer glass plates with the vertical edges closed on the two sides, and the spaces on the two sides are separated, so that the purpose of fireproof isolation of the spaces is achieved.
