The invention discloses a waterproof and drainage structure for hydraulic engineering construction. The structure comprises a first water tank, a second water tank, a movable plate, a first water suction pump, a water inlet pipe and a second filter screen; the second water tank is arranged on one side of the first water tank, and the first water tank and the second water tank are fixedly connected through two connecting rods; the movable plate is arranged in the second water tank; the first water suction pump is arranged in the first water tank, and a water suction pipe is arranged on one side of the first water suction pump; the water inlet pipe is arranged on one side of the first water suction pump, one end of the water inlet pipe extends into the first water tank to be connected with the water suction pipe, and a sealing gasket is arranged between the water inlet pipe and the water suction pipe in a sealed mode; and the second filter screen is arranged in the second water tank. According to the structure, hydraulic engineering constructors can well drain water in a construction site with a large number of sundries, impurities in sewage are smashed and filtered out, and therefore the problem that the waterproof and drainage effects are poor due to blockage by the sundries is effectively solved.
