The invention discloses a cylindrical foundation with an auxiliary sinking counterweight structure. The cylindrical foundation comprises a cylindrical foundation structure; the cylindrical foundation structure comprises a stand column, a transition section and a suction cylinder; the transition section is arranged at the top of the suction cylinder; the stand column is arranged at the top of the transition section; the suction cylinder comprises a suction cylinder outer wall with an opening in the bottom; a suction cylinder top is arranged at the top of the suction cylinder outer wall; multiple water jet high-pressure pipes are arranged on the peripheral outer wall of the suction cylinder outer wall; the outer wall of the stand column is wrapped with an annular extension bag; a counterweight support frame comprising multiple counterweight support rods is placed at the top of the stand column; counterweight bags are respectively hung at the outer side end parts of all the counterweight support rods; and a cylinder top peripheral counterweight structure is arranged at the radial periphery of the top of the suction cylinder top. The invention further correspondingly provides a construction method of the cylindrical foundation.
