The invention relates to a municipal road deicing vehicle, and particularly relates to a municipal road deicing vehicle with a cutter buffer protection function. The deicing vehicle comprises a support frame, a rotating rod, walking wheels, a handrail, a fixed rod and the like. A rotating rod is arranged at one end of the support frame, and the fixed rod is arranged at the other end of the support frame in a sliding manner; and the two ends of the rotating rod are rotatably connected with the walking wheels through bearings, and the handrail is fixedly connected to one side of the supporting frame. By means of a gravity adjusting mechanism, gravity blocks can be added or reduced in a gravity frame, a spiral cutting tool can cut thick ice blocks deeper, the situation that a cutting edge of the spiral cutting tool is damaged due to the fact that the spiral cutting tool cuts the ground is avoided, and the function of buffering and protecting the cutter is achieved.
