The invention relates to the technical field of indoor decoration, and particularly relates to a decoration method for indoor pretreatment. The decoration method comprises the following steps that 1, splicing plates are sequentially spliced and installed on an installation surface; 2, the distance between a connecting piece and the installation surface is adjusted through a fixing piece, so that the flatness of the connecting piece is adjusted; and 3, joint paste is smeared at the joint between the adjacent splicing plates, the connecting piece and the joint are covered, the joint paste is trowelled, and the trowelling work of the joint is completed. The decoration method can replace traditional cement mortar plastering wet operation and on-site putty plastering wet operation, and has the advantages of being simple in installation process, short in pretreatment construction period and high in decoration efficiency.
