Disclosed expansion joint cutting equipment for bridge construction structurally comprises a moving mechanism, an oil tank, a cutting instrument, a transmission wheel and a handle, the moving mechanism is embedded under the oil tank, the oil tank is fixedly installed on the left side of the cutting instrument in an embedded mode, the cutting instrument is in transmission connection with the transmission wheel, and the transmission wheel is located on the right side of the oil tank; and the handle is installed on the right side end face of the oil tank in a welded mode. Due to the fact that a movable shaft attached to a hollow rubber block can be pressed downwards in the extrusion process of the supporting mechanism, the hollow rubber block can be extruded inwards while the movable shaft is pressed downwards, and the hollow rubber block deforms along with extrusion; and the problem that the supporting mechanism cannot move forwards due to excessive friction force caused by excessive extrusion force application is solved.
