A self-cleaning bathtub comprises a body which is provided with a water inlet device and a water drainage device, and further comprises a switching control valve, a cover body and a cleaning spray head. The switching control valve is provided with a first water outlet, a second water outlet and at least one water inlet, wherein the first water outlet is communicated with the water inlet device, and the second water outlet is communicated with the cleaning spray head. The cover body is detachably laid on the top surface of the body to form a closed cavity; the cleaning spray head is installed on the inner wall of the body, and the switching control valve is controlled to be communicated with the second water outlet so that water can flow out of the cleaning spray head to clean the closed cavity. The switching control valve is controlled to act to enable the cleaning spray head to discharge water to clean the closed cavity or enable the water inlet device to feed water to achieve bathtub water storage, the cleaning effect is good, switching operation is simple, and a heat preservation function is further achieved.
