The invention discloses a winter construction maintenance method for a bridge expansion joint, which comprises the following steps of: paving an electric heat tracing wire in expansion joint concrete in advance, and switching on the electric heat tracing wire after the concrete is poured; setting up a totally-enclosed warm shed on the top surface; heating equipment is cooperatively used in the warm shed to heat the warm shed; a temperature and humidity monitoring device is arranged in the warm shed to conduct temperature measurement and monitoring regularly, a temperature control meter and a temperature sensor are arranged on a loop of each electric heat tracing wire, the temperature sensors can be embedded in expansion joint concrete, and the temperature of the temperature control meters is set at the temperature value meeting the concrete curing requirement. The output power can be automatically adjusted along with the temperature of the electric tracing wire. The fully-closed warm shed is simple, efficient and low in manufacturing cost, the problem that an electric blanket is adopted in traditional winter construction is solved while the expansion joint concrete curing quality is effectively guaranteed, the construction cost is reduced while the construction safety is improved, and the probability of quality problems is reduced.
