The river channel slope protection structure comprises a slope protection body, wherein the slope protection body comprises a slope surface and a slope body; a river bank is arranged on the upper side of the slope protection body; a plurality of vegetation layers are arranged on the slope surface; a drainage channel is formed between every two adjacent vegetation layers; a cement layer is arranged at the bottom of each drainage channel; a plurality of retaining walls inserted into the slope body are arranged on the vegetation layers; an inserting rod is fixedly connected to one side, inserted into the slope body, of each retaining wall; and a locking block is fixedly connected to one end, far away from the corresponding retaining wall, of each inserting rod. The river channel slope protection structure has the effect that the slope protection structure can still keep stable when rainwater is heavy.
