For the purposes of improvement in respect of vibration technology and the feasibility for mass production of a closing bracket (10) of a motor vehicle body lock (5), having a bracket (40) arranged on a bracket plate (25), which bracket (40) has a bracket section (40-3) designed for accommodating a load (F), according to the invention the bracket plate (25) has a first bracket plate section (25-1), which is designed to be connected to a body component (15), the bracket plate (25) has a second bracket plate section (25-2), which is arranged on the bracket (40), wherein the first bracket plate section (25-1) and the second bracket plate section (25-2) are connected to each other and spaced apart from each other, forming a receptacle (30), in which a damping means (32) is located, and/or at least one additional mass (47-1, 47-2) is arranged on the second bracket plate section (25-2) and/or the region of the bracket (40) adjacent thereto.
