The invention discloses a glass-based component manufacturing method which is characterized by comprising the following steps: S1, raw material manufacturing: firstly, crushing and processing waste glass into three particle sizes of 2-5mm, 0.1-2mm and less than 0.1 mm; S2, adding ingredients: adding four materials, namely mineral powder, metakaolin, water glass and epoxy resin; S3, stirring and mixing: mixing the raw materials and the ingredients according to the proportion, and then fully stirring the raw materials and the ingredients according to the specific proportion: 15%-25% of waste glass with the particle size of 2-5mm, 10%-15% of waste glass with the particle size of 0.1-2mm, 10%-15% of waste glass with the particle size of less than 0.1 mm, 20%-25% of mineral powder, 5%-10% of metakaolin, 20%-25% of water glass and 5%-10% of epoxy resin; S4, injection into a mold: injecting the mixed raw material produced in S3 into the mold prepared in advance; S5, cooling: moving the mold to a shade place and placing for 4 hours; and S6, demolding, so that the problem that the metal casting is poor in wear resistance is solved, the product cost is greatly reduced, industrial waste is converted into available resources, and good economic benefits can be generated.
