The roof landscape maintenance system comprises a planting area arranged on the roof, and waterproof base layers are laid on the bottom and the side walls of the planting area; and light base layers for green plants to grow are laid on the waterproof base layers, a growth area for the nursery stocks to grow is arranged in the planting area, a pruning area for root system pruning is arranged on the periphery of the growth area, a first isolation layer is arranged between the growth area and the pruning area, and a second isolation layer is arranged on the periphery of the pruning area. The roof landscape maintenance system has the effects of controlling root growth of the nursery stocks planted on the roof and facilitating maintenance of the nursery stocks on the roof.
