The invention provides a dining table, and belongs to the technical field of catering equipment. The dining table solves the problem that an existing dining table is uneven in heat preservation effect. The dining table comprises a dining table body, a protective cover arranged above the dining table body, a temperature control mechanism used for heating or refrigerating a heat preservation cavity, a control circuit board and an induction module used for inducting whether a person exists in front of the dining table body or not, and the protective cover is provided with a meal taking opening and an outer bin plate capable of moving relative to the dining table body. The control circuit board controls the outer bin plate to move to open or close the meal taking opening according to a signal fed back by the induction module, and when the meal taking opening is closed by the outer bin plate, a closed heat preservation cavity is formed between the protective cover and the dining table body. According to the dining table, it can be guaranteed that food is basically and completely located in a uniform and balanced temperature environment from beginning to end, the heat preservation effect is good and uniform, and therefore it can be guaranteed that food on the hands of customers has good taste.
