The invention discloses an electric control automatic buffering and locking escalator control method and system for an ultra-large excavator. The state of an escalator is detected through a detection switch, and when the escalator is in an unlocked state, a controller forbids the excavator to rotate. The escalator is unfolded and folded by controlling an electromagnetic directional valve to change the direction of pressure oil of an oil cylinder through an input switch. When the action is executed to a certain position, a corresponding buffer detection switch is triggered and part of pressure oil loops are cut off, so that the action speed is reduced, the impact force of a mechanical structure is buffered, the effect of protecting the mechanical structure is achieved, and the service life of the escalator is prolonged.
