The invention discloses a high-safety sliding support for a metal structure. The high-safety sliding support comprises a moving mechanism, a supporting column, a bearing plate, a pair of auxiliary bearing plates and a pair of clamping plates; the supporting column is fixedly connected to the moving mechanism; the bearing plate is arranged at the end, away from the moving mechanism, of the supporting column and fixedly connected with the supporting column; the pair of auxiliary bearing plates is symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the bearing plate; reinforcing pieces are connected between the auxiliary bearing plates and the supporting column and between the bearing plate and the supporting column; the pair of clamping plates corresponds to the auxiliary bearing plates; and each clamping plate comprises an upper fixing plate, wherein clamping side plates are arranged on the two sides of the upper fixing plate. According to the high-safety sliding support, through the arrangement of corresponding mechanisms on the sliding support, the clamping plates can be adjusted in real time according to the model of an installation component, installation personnel do not need to spend time looking for different clamping plates, and the workload of the installation personnel is relieved; and meanwhile, the transportation efficiency of the installation component can be improved, and the normal installation progress of the installation component is guaranteed.
