The invention belongs to the technical field of steel structures, and provides a segmented tooth-shaped constrained energy dissipation joint. The segmented tooth-shaped constrained energy dissipation joint comprises a column, a long beam section, a short beam section and an energy dissipation section, wherein the long beam section and the short beam section are connected by virtue of the energy dissipation section through a high-strength bolt group, the energy dissipation section comprises a flange connecting piece and a web connecting piece, energy is dissipated by means of yielding of an energy dissipation plate, and a constrained jacket with a tooth-shaped bulge is arranged on the flange connecting piece. Under the earthquake, the plastic deformation of the structure can be controlled on the energy dissipation section, and additionally, the tooth-shaped constraint exists, so that the condition that the energy dissipation performance is reduced due to excessive buckling of the energy dissipation section is avoided, and main components of the structure always keep elastic. The joint has the advantages of good energy dissipation effect, small overall size, no influence on the structural space layout, the simple structure and easiness and convenience in machineing, and the structure can be recovered for use only by replacing the energy dissipation section during post-earthquake repair.
