The invention provides a rigid-flexible conversion self-adaptive driving system of a retractable roof, and relates to the field of steel structure building mechanical equipment. The rigid-flexible conversion self-adaptive driving system comprises a driving trolley, a rigid-flexible conversion mechanism, a rail mechanism and a pin tooth mechanism, wherein the driving trolley comprises a driving frame, a driving wheel set, a driving reverse hook guide wheel set, a driving motor, a driving shaft, a pin wheel and a flexible adjusting mechanism; before the driving trolley is started, the rigid-flexible conversion mechanism locks the flexible adjusting mechanism, so that the driving trolley is converted from flexible driving to rigid driving; when the driving trolley is started, the driving motor and the driving shaft drive the pin wheel to move along the pin tooth mechanism; when the driving trolley reaches a set position and stops, the rigid-flexible conversion mechanism is converted from rigid driving to flexible driving; and the pin wheel on the driving trolley can move back and forth on the pin tooth mechanism in the moving direction through the flexible adjusting mechanism, so that abrasion of pin teeth of the pin wheel caused by rigid connection of the pin wheel and the pin teeth is avoided.
