The foam light soil comprises the following raw materials: 400-1000 parts of coal cinder, 200-500 parts of cement, 10-50 parts of a composite admixture, 15-50 parts of a foam group and 100-300 parts of water. According to the formula and the method disclosed by the invention, a certain amount of thermal power plant burning waste coal slag can be doped into the foam light soil, so that the cost of raw materials is saved, and the pollution to the environment is relieved.
