The invention relates to an application type cemented filling material containing superfine tail mud as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The cemented filling material is prepared from the following raw materials: a cementing material, aggregate and water, wherein the cementing material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 10-30 parts of steel slag, 30-60 parts of mineral powder, 0-30 parts of gypsum and 5-20 parts of desulfurized fly ash; the aggregate comprises superfine tail mud; the mass ratio of the cementing material to the aggregate is 1: (4-7); the concentration of the slurry is 50-65%. A large amount of superfine tail mud is utilized, cement clinker is not doped, and good compressive strength capable of being industrially applied can be shown without adding an exciting agent, an early strength agent and other additives. According to the invention, the problem of stockpiling of solid wastes such as superfine tail mud, steel slag, mineral powder and desulfurization byproducts is reasonably solved, and the industrial application cost is greatly reduced.
