The invention discloses a once-fired luminous ceramic tile and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the once-fired luminous ceramic tile comprises the following steps: step A1, applying green body powder; step A2, applying surface layer powder to the surface of the green body powder; step A3, applying luminescent glaze on the surface of the surface layer powder; step A4, carrying out compression molding to obtain a green body; and step A5, after the green body is dried, putting the green body into a kiln to be fired; and carrying out edging and polishing operation to obtain the once-fired luminous ceramic tile. According to the preparation method of the once-fired luminous ceramic tile, a manner of distributing materials for multiple times is adopted, a press is used for once forming, the once-fired luminous ceramic tile can be obtained only through once-firing after entering a kiln, a luminous decorative layer does not need to be fired for two times or three times on the surface of a biscuit firing blank or a fired blank, the firing frequency required by the luminous ceramic tile is reduced, fuel is saved, not only is the production cost of the luminous ceramic tile reduced, but also the purposes of energy conservation and emission reduction can be achieved.
