The invention discloses a portable fence device for geotechnical engineering investigation. The portable fence device comprises a plurality of baffles, wherein every two adjacent baffles are connected through a hinge; grooves are formed in the lower ends of the plurality of baffles; cavities are formed in the plurality of baffles; lifting mechanisms are arranged in the plurality of cavities; the plurality of lifting mechanisms penetrate through the bottoms of the corresponding cavities and the tops of the corresponding grooves in a sliding mode and are fixedly connected with supporting mechanisms; driving mechanisms are arranged in the plurality of cavities; the plurality of driving mechanisms penetrate through the corresponding lifting mechanisms in a threaded mode; the lower ends of the plurality of baffles are fixedly connected with a plurality of universal locking wheels; the lifting mechanisms comprise sliding plates which are connected into the corresponding cavities in a sliding mode; lifting blocks are fixedly connected to the lower ends of the sliding plates; and the lower ends of the lifting blocks penetrate through the bottoms of the corresponding cavities and the tops of the corresponding grooves in a sliding mode and are fixedly connected with the corresponding supporting mechanisms. The portable fence device can effectively adapt to the uneven ground, and workers can conveniently carry the portable fence device.
