The invention discloses a cement-based wave-absorbing material and a preparation method thereof. The cement-based wave-absorbing material comprises a matrix and a wave-absorbing reinforced phase, wherein the wave-absorbing reinforced phase is embedded in the matrix; the matrix is concrete composed of cement, sand and water, and the wave-absorbing reinforced phase is a spiral fiber wave-absorbing body; the cement-based wave-absorbing material comprises the following components in parts by mass: 10-30 parts of cement, 20-55 parts of sand, 10-20 parts of water and 1-10 parts of a spiral fiber wave-absorbing body; the preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing materials, preparing concrete, arranging the spiral fiber wave-absorbing bodies, molding the concrete and the like. According to the cement-based wave-absorbing material, the spiral fiber wave-absorbing bodies are embedded in the concrete matrix, so that the cement-based wave-absorbing material is low in cost, wide in absorption frequency band and excellent in mechanical property. The preparation method of the cement-based wave-absorbing material provided by the invention adopts a conventional process of civil engineering, is simple to operate, has no special requirements on operators, and is suitable for batch production.
