The invention discloses a skirting line capable of removing dust from an indoor wall and a method. The skirting line comprises a base plate, a cover plate, a filter part, a negative pressure device and a bottom box, wherein the cover plate is fixedly connected with the base plate, a cavity is formed between the cover plate and the base plate, an air outlet is formed between the cover plate and the base plate, and a guide part is arranged on the outer side of the air outlet; the guide part is located at an end away from the wall, and the guide part inclines towards the wall from bottom to top; the filter part and the negative pressure device are both located in the cavity, and the filter part is detachably connected with the base plate; the negative pressure device is arranged above the filter part and is fixedly connected with the base plate; the bottom box is located on the lower portion of the cavity, located below the cover plate and connected with the base plate in a clamped mode; and a gap is formed between the cover plate and the bottom box to form an air inlet. By the adoption of the skirting line, dead corners of a room can be covered, air flows to the wall, the dust on the wall is flushed down, and the dust flows along with the air and is collected, so that the effect of cleaning the wall is achieved.
