The invention relates to a steel structure spliced environment-friendly bridge and a construction method thereof. The steel structure spliced environment-friendly bridge comprises a plurality of bridge units which are spliced and connected in the horizontal direction, each bridge unit comprises a pier base, a bridge floor arranged above the pier base and used for allowing vehicles to pass through and two guardrail assemblies arranged on the bridge floor, and the two guardrail assemblies are distributed in the width direction of the bridge floor; each guardrail assembly comprises a fixing plate installed on the bridge floor, a partition piece located on the side, close to the center of the bridge floor, of the fixing plate and at least one connecting rod arranged between the fixing plate and the partition piece, one end of the connecting rod is fixed to the partition piece, the other end of the connecting rod is arranged in the fixing plate in a penetrating mode, and the fixing plate is provided with a driving piece used for driving the connecting rod to move towards the side close to or away from the fixing plate. The bridge has the effect of being high in convenience when the passing width of the bridge floor is adjusted.
