The invention discloses an assembly type wall top edge closing system and a mounting method thereof. The assembly type wall top edge closing system comprises triangular keels, an original wall surface, an extruded wallboard and a top edge closing piece, wherein the extruded wallboard is arranged on the original wall surface, the triangular keels are arranged at the positions, located at the top of the extruded wallboard, of the original wall surface, the top edge closing piece is placed on the triangular keels, and the top edge closing piece is clamped with ethe xtruded wallboard in a matching manner. The assembly type wall top edge closing system has the beneficial effects that (1), a leveling plate of the top edge closing piece can be matched with the inclined surface of the triangular keels, so that the top of the extruded wallboard can be leveled and supported; (2), a balancing weight is arranged on the top edge closing piece, the balancing weight is pressed on the top of the extruded wallboard through the self weight of the balancing weight, and additional fixing is not needed; and (3), the extruded wallboard is arranged in the horizontal gap between a clamping piece and an edge closing plate, so that the top edge closing piece can be clamped and fixed with the extruded wallboard.
