The quartz ceramic is prepared by carrying out cross-linking reaction on an organic monomer and a cross-linking agent, carrying out in-situ curing on fused quartz particles, and sintering, wherein the organic monomer is N-vinyl pyrrolidone (NVP), and the cross-linking agent is diallyl tartaric acid diamide (DAT). The fused quartz ceramic is prepared through the steps of slurry preparation, gel casting and curing, sintering molding and the like, organic monomer in the slurry is initiated by the initiator to polymerize and cure raw material particles in situ to form a three-dimensional cross-linked network structure with a uniform structure, and the prepared product has ideal density and mechanical strength; and the requirement for preparing large-size and thick products can be met.
