At least one intermediate metal profile (6) is arranged between the two metal profiles (2, 4), the first metal outer profile (2) is connected to the intermediate metal profile (6) in a first insulating web region I by means of one or more insulating webs (8, 22), and the second metal profile (4) is connected to the intermediate metal profile (6) in a second insulating web region II by means of one or more insulating webs (9, 22), the composite profiled element is characterized in that the two isolation connecting piece areas I and II have different shearing strength perpendicular to the cross section plane of the composite section bar (1).
