The invention discloses a construction process of a cast-in-place cover beam, which comprises a pier column template, a cover beam template, side templates and an adjustable support; wherein the pier column template is positioned on the outer side of a pier column, the cover beam template is positioned on the top of the pier column template, the side templates are positioned on the two sides of the cover beam template, and the adjustable support is movably arranged between the pier column template and the side templates. According to the construction technology of the cast-in-place cover beam, the adjustable formwork supporting structure of the cast-in-place cover beam can be constructed after the lower pier column of the cover beam is poured to the designed elevation; therefore, the construction period of the capping beam is greatly shortened, and the investment cost and the construction measure cost of capping beam construction are reduced. Therefore, the construction cost is favorably controlled, the potential safety hazard caused by a traditional construction method is reduced, the construction process steps are reduced, and the construction period is greatly shortened; meanwhile, the construction quality problem caused by formwork deformation and supporting structure settlement of a traditional cast-in-place bent cap construction method is solved, the method is suitable for different working conditions, and better use prospects are brought.
