The municipal drainage ditch comprises a drainage pipeline and a drainage mechanism installed on the drainage pipeline; the drainage mechanism comprises a drainage cover plate provided with first drainage holes and filter plates installed on the two sides of the drainage cover plate; installation grooves for positioning the filter plates are formed in the side wall of the drainage pipeline; each filter plate comprises a macroporous grid plate; the macroporous grid plates are rotationally connected with the cover plate; and the planting layer is positioned on the drainage cover plate and staggered with the first drainage holes. According to the municipal drainage ditch with the vegetation planting layer, the filter plates are installed on the side wall of the cover plate, through the rotationally-connected macroporous grid plates, on one hand, gravel, entanglements and the like can be filtered and prevented from entering the drainage ditch, and on the other hand, cleaning is more convenient through rotation of the macroporous grid plates; the planting layer is placed on the drainage cover plate, so that greening is improved, and attractiveness is improved; and the planting layer and the first drainage holes are staggered, so that drainage is prevented from being affected, and therefore the purpose of conveniently cleaning the drainage ditch is achieved.
